Way To Get in the 3D Printing Business (Motivational Talk)

You may watch many videos on YouTube or read books on how to make money by 3d printing or how to get successful by 3d printing but, what really it takes to start making money by 3D printing?

Well here are some of my tips and suggestions from my experience experience:
-> You need to have that passion; well everything successful has started from passion and not from a perfect business plan.
-> You require to learn basic skill to start making basic model, which is the least expensive way to get into this business.
-> Mind in the money; It is not just a hobby where you pay your money from other sources to make it work. It is not just for fun / time-pass.
-> Always make yourself motivated, no matter whatever other say about it never leave it. ( well my father always support me in this).
-> Try to build multiple skill related to 3d printing, well it is not just always about modelling, you start building your own 3d printer, you can offer maintenance services to other or some kind of support ( currently what I do).
-> You can help other to make their model work.If you fail early don't worry since it is not just a small industry where if you fail at one thing you can try other. But I my suggestions if you fail, fail cheap; since it may be costly in some cases. Which I experienced.
-> Well think the lowest what you can invest lowest to generate income. Basically you require tons of idea to make ot work.
-> Strike oil, to become successful put your full efforts to make it work. Find the best thing you could do better then other. For which someone would pay you.
-> The things / skill might runout like your modelling skill, try to build other skill before you ran out of that particular idea or skill.
-> Make it a habit from just a passion. Sometimes nothing will work and your planning fails. It may slowdown & not be that excited as it was. But you need to commit to this to make it work.
-> Try to find all the new opportunities, customers or whatever.
-> Make it a habit that's all.As it a habit you may make mistakes, but that's okay even the great printing guru's or big 3d printing companies had fail. For example; you get bulk order for your product & you sell less then your marked price in order to earn more money (which I did) or quick money. And later finding your product on sale for 10 times the price you sold.
->At last, it is always a process of learning & growing. And always try something new without any assitation.

How different types of 3d printers works?

FDM WORKING : A 3D model file (usually a .STL or .OBJ) is imported into a program called a slicer. Cura, Slic3r, and Simplify3D are all great examples of slicer programs.  This program will “slice” the object into single layers and create gcode that tells the printer where to move and also controls parameters like print speed and temperature.  Gcode is sent to the machine The printing nozzle heats and melts filament that’s forced through the nozzle The object is built layer by layer with each successive layer fusing on top of the one below it until the 3D object is complete Software recommended:  Slic3r ,  Cura  &    Ideamaker   SLA WORKING : The 3D Model is imported into a slicing program like PreForm, Ideamaker,  A tank is filled with liquid photo-polymer resin  A build platform lowers into the tank and one layer of the design is traced by a UV laser. The laser is positioned using...

How easy is modeling for 3D printing?

Well modelling for 3D printing is as similar as to normal CAD modelling, but like any other machining process you need to decide some degree of tolerance especially when you are designing a parts with int. Since, modelling can be done on many software, but if you are engineer and want to design a part that have movement so you better understand above statement. { Note: I am making a pdf or standard tolerance limit, it is currently under process and will be applicable for all design purpose including for 3D printing. } So Let me answer how easy is modelling for 3D printing, well it is totally depend on what type of model you are making it can be a simple toy or toy with moving parts, it can be jewelry or any engineering / architecture prototype. So, if your designing just for basic application I recommend you try online software like ThinkerCAD, Vectary And BlocksCAd. This are the most easiest software that I found for modelling. The best among this that even I use is vectary s...
